Dr. V. Geethalakshmi, the Honorable Vice Chancellor of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, presided over the opening ceremony of the EDII – KABIF incubatees mart on 29.01.2024. The event happened in the heartwarming presence of Dr. M. Raveendran, Director of Research at TNAU, Dr. R. Swarnapriya, Special Officer and Director and Nodal Officer EDII – KABIF and Dr. M. Theradimani, Dean of VOC AC & RI, Killikulam. Out of the two counters, one has been rented for our incubatee Mr. Essaki Raja, Aiyini Ventures to run bakery products, while the other showcases products from all our incubatees for sale with notable products from Millet leaf, Kredi Grapes and Child and Youth Development Foundation(CYDF).

EDII KABIF had organized an one-day workshop in cake baking within the premises of KABIF on 15.12.2023. The event was presided over by Dr. R. Swarnapriya (Director and Nodal Officer – KABIF) and session was conducted by Mrs. Ramya (Certified Home Baker, Valliyur, Nagercoil). There were two sessions – Forenoon: Theory classes on ingredients and making procedure. Afternoon: Hands on Training in Cake preparation by resource person along with the participants. There were 10 participants enrolled for this workshop. 

 On 27.12.2023, 96 MBA Students from PSR Engineering College with 4 faculty members visited EDII – Killikulam Agribusiness Incubation Forum to explore the knowledge on Entrepreneurship activities and Incubation role in supporting entrepreneurship as part of their curriculam. Mr. K. Arun CEO, Interacted with the students and explained about the activities of EDII – KABIF and Dr. Suvanthiran, Field Coordinator, EDII – TN, Tirunelveli gave a special lecture on Design Thinking.

EDII – Killikulam Agri Business Incubation Forum (EDII – KABIF) in association with ESAF organized a one-day program on ” Branding and Packaging” to FPO’s hosted at EDII – KABIF on 29.12.2023 which was presided over by Dr. R. Swarnapriya and Addressed by EDII – KABIF CEO K. Arun. The session was taken by Mr. Ashwin, Founder and CEO of Shapers, on various aspects of modern-day requirements of the product packaging and Training. 

On 01.12.2023 Students of S. Thangapazham Agricultural College around 96 with 4 faculty members visited EDII – Killikulam Agribusiness Incubation Forum to explore the knowledge on Entrepreneurship activities and Incubation role in supporting entrepreneurship. Mr. K. Arun CEO, Interacted with the students and explained about the activities of EDII – KABIF.

 EDII-Killikulam Agribusiness Incubation Forum organized a one-day workshop on ‘Actionable Insight Marketing’. Startups in and around Tirunelveli and Thoothukudi have participated in the event and gained insights on converting data into action in marketing.

Identifying actionable insights is one of the most important foundations for understanding how to do market research for marketing. Not every business has an in-house marketing partner or comprehensive marketing knowledge. KABIF came forward and conducted the workshop to find and flesh out the insights that pertain to marketing. The session covered different aspects including brand identity, segmentation, behavioural analytics, and customer retention, and elaborately discussed the integration of these ideas to formulate marketing strategies.
