One Day Workshop - Value Addition in Amla | 30.11.2023

EDII KABIF had organised a one day workshop titled ‘Value Addition in Amla’ within the premises of KABIF at 30.11.2023. The event was presided over by Dr. R. Swarnapriya (Director and Nodal Officer - KABIF) and session conducted by Mrs. K. Thirumalaiselvi (Food Technologist, Tirunelveli). There were two sessions - Forenoon: Theory classes on amla and capital for enterprise by Mr. M. Mariaraja Venkatesan (Assistant Vice President, Cluster Head - HDFC Bank) Afternoon: Recipes preparation by resource person along with the participants. There were 36 participants enrolled for this workshop. After the session, the oral feedback was received from the participants and certificates were distributed.

 EDII-Killikulam Agribusiness Incubation Forum organized a one-day workshop on 'Actionable Insight Marketing'. Startups in and around Tirunelveli and Thoothukudi have participated in the event and gained insights on converting data into action in marketing. Identifying actionable insights is one of the most important foundations for understanding how to do market research for marketing. Not every business has an in-house marketing partner or comprehensive marketing knowledge. KABIF came forward and conducted the workshop to find and flesh out the insights that pertain to marketing. The session covered different aspects including brand identity, segmentation, behavioural analytics, and customer retention, and elaborately discussed the integration of these ideas to formulate marketing strategies. . .

EDII Killikulam Agri Business Incubation Forum, as an incubator, offers a wide range of services to budding entrepreneurs in agri and allied sectors. In order to provide an enabling ecosystem to support entrepreneurial growth, KABIF offers services that include networking, market linkage, technical mentoring, funding facilitation, capacity building and training, and infrastructure facilities like machines, conference halls, and co-working spaces. Co-working spaces are office spaces that provide an affordable workplace along with networking opportunities. Mr. A. Kasisekar, the proprietor of M/S Vels Organics, became a member of EDII KABIF on April 21, 2023, and occupied a co-working cabin to run their business with the support of the Incubation Forum. The cabin key was handed over to M/S Vels Organics by Dr. M. Theradimani, the Director and Nodal Officer, EDII-KABIF.
